A 13‑year-old soccer player, Bryan Ceja from Santa Clarita, California, who was killed in a tragic car accident, is survived by his parents, including his mother, Aracely.

Bryan was identified as the victim in a deadly freeway crash in Southern California by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.

The accident took place on Sunday evening, December 14, 2025, on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near the Sunland Boulevard exit in the Shadow Hills.

While Bryan Ceja was pronounced dead at the scene, five others, including his uncle and mother, were lucky enough to survive.

Parents of 13‑Year-Old Soccer Player Mourn the Loss of Their Young Son in Tragic Accident!

Born on June 15, 2012, Bryan Ceja was the loving son of Aracely, while his father’s details are not known.

However, he is now survived by his mother Aracely and his uncle Erick, who was also critically injured in the same accident.

Following the tragic accident, Bryan’s aunt, Katherine Siordia, has created a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to help the family cope with this unexpected loss.

Not just his friends and family, but the Los Angeles SC team (LASC‑SCV) also expressed a heartfelt post on Instagram following Bryan’s passing.

In the post’s caption, the LASC team writes:

Bryan Ceja, you will forever be a member of our soccer family, and may your light shine bright for all to remember. We love and miss you and may you rest in peace.

Additionally, many community members, including his teammates’ parents, have also expressed their condolences and support for the Ceja family.

One of his teammates’ parents wrote in the post’s comment.

I’m so heartbroken! The soccer community is strong and any tragedy devastates the community as a whole. My deepest condolences to the family, friends, and all those that are mourning the loss of this child. Sending healing thoughts and while words won’t heal, I am sending all the love and strength. I’ve made a donation on behalf of my son who shared this news with me

News of Bryan’s passing has not only brought grief to his friends and family but also to his entire soccer team and the California community, who all seem to be mourning.

While everyone mourns this loss, we also express our heartfelt condolences to Bryan Ceja’s family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
