Collegiate Career

When Josh was at the Alabama Huntsville University, he played for four seasons, i.e. from 2008/09 to 2011/12.

He led Huntsville to three championships in the Gulf South Conference and two Elite Eight appearances in NCAA Division II.

Similarly, Magette ended his career as the all-time leader of the school and conference in help with 878 and the all-time leader of UAH in steals with 268.

Also, Josh played and started 33 games as a senior (2011-12), averaging 34.0 minutes, 12.7 points plus 5.4 rebounds, and 8.9 assists.

He was named 2012 GSC Co-Player of the Year, first-team GSC Tournament MVP, and All-GSC.

As a junior (2010-11), he became the leader of the school in career assists as he led the team with 272, led the team in steals (73) and minutes per game (33.2), and was second in points (430).
