The top-seeded team Utah Jazz has players with more playoff experience while the Memphis Grizzlies team is full of young players without much playoff experience.
Despite the experience, the Grizzlies are giving a tough time to the Jazz.
The same showed in Game 3 of the playoffs between the two teams with both fight for the win till the last minute of the quarter.
The Jazz however came up with the final win over the young Grizzlies.
They defeated the Grizzlies 121-111, taking the series 2-1 lead.
Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz to the win.
On the other hand, Ja Morant continued his historic night along with Dillon Brooks to keep the Jazz at their toes despite the loss.
The Jazz started strong, taking the lead in the first quarter.
Donovan Mitchell found Rudy Gobert for a reverse layup to start the quarter.
He then dropped a layup on the next possession.
While Ja Morant sets up Jaren Jackson Jr. for a three-pointer.
They were 7-3 about two minutes into the quarter with the Jazz taking a four-point lead.
Dillon Brooks then came up with a jumper and Royce O’Neal answered back with a three-pointer.

Kyle Anderson knocked down a jumper over Mitchell.
Mitchell then quickly answered back with a three-pointer. Morant dropped a layup.
They were 18-9 about halfway into the quarter with the Grizzlies trailing the Jazz by nine points.
Brooks came up with a jumper and Morant with a floater right after, cutting the lead with less than five minutes left in the quarter.
O’Neal knocked down another three-pointer and Ja Morant quickly came up with a bucket on the other end.
Subsequently, O’Neal hit another three-pointer extending the lead to 9 points with 2:20 remaining in the first quarter.
Morant then dropped a layup and Jordan Clarkson answered right back with a jumper.
Joe Ingles knocked down a three-pointer with 53.3 seconds remaining.
Georges Niang dropped a three-pointer and Rudy Gobert blocked Ja Morant at the rim.
The quarter ended 22-34 with the Jazz taking 11 point lead.
The Jazz still dominated the Grizzlies in the second quarter.
Rudy Gobert started the second quarter with a dunk on Conley’s pass.
Tyus Jones knocked down a three-pointer and Anderson came up with a bucket on the next possession.
Conley quickly dropped a three-pointer and Grayson Allen answered back with a three-pointer.
The Jazz took a 12 point lead with 8:20 remaining in the quarter.

Allen dropped a three-pointer and Mitchell answered back with a layup.

O’Neal then dropped a three-pointer and Brooks answered back with a floater.
Mitchell then knocked down a three-pointer, drawing a foul.
Brooks then drove straight to the basket for a floater on the Jazz’s miss.
Clarkson knocked down a three-pointer and Brooks answered back with a layup.
Conley dropped a three-pointer and Bojan Bogdanovic came up with a three-pointer.
Grayson Allen answered back with a three-pointer and Anderson deflected the Jazz’s pass and dropped a layup on the other end.
The quarter ended 62-51 with the Jazz taking 11 point lead again.
The Jazz continued to take the lead in the third quarter.
Conley started the third quarter with a three-pointer. Morant shot a jumper but missed and Jonas Valanciunas tipped off the miss.
Valanciunas then dropped a jumper and Conley answered back with a three-pointer.
He also tipped off Jaren Jackson’s missed layup.
They were 68-59 with 9 minutes left in the quarter as Valanciunas dropped his own miss for the bucket.
Brooks dropped a three-pointer and Mitchell dropped a bucket subsequently.

Jackson drove to the rim and finished with a layup.
Brook’s spin jumper cut the Jazz’s lead to six points halfway into the quarter.
Mitchell then came up with a layup extending the lead.
Desmond Bane hits a three-pointer bringing the game within five points.
And Mitchell answered back with a jumper.
Allen came up with a three-pointer on Morant’s pass, trailing the Jazz by four points with under four minutes left.
Bogdanovic answered back with a fadeaway shot and with a three-pointer on the next possession.
Clarkson dropped another three-pointer extending the lead to 12 points.
Morant then came up with a jumper.
They were 80-90 with 1:41 left to play in the quarter as Morant set up Anderson for a three-pointer.
Gobert came up with a bucket after almost losing it to the Grizzlies.

The quarter ended 96-85, the Jazz taking the lead.
The Jazz came up with the win in the final quarter.
They were 96-89 with about two minutes into the fourth quarter
Jones hits a three-pointer but misses it then Anderson tipped it off cutting the lead to three points with under nine minutes left in the quarter.
Clarkson then dropped a layup and Allen answered back with a layup with Gobert guarding him.
Allen then dropped a three-pointer on the next possession, tying the game with under eight minutes left to play.

Mitchell came up with a layup but misses and Gobert dropped the missed shot.
Morant quickly came up with a bucket on the other end.
Conley then dropped a three-pointer and Morant came back with a three-pointer as well.
They were 105-103 with the Jazz in the lead halfway into the quarter.
Brooks then came up with a jumper, tying the game again.
The Grizzlies finally took the lead 105-107 with 4:52 remaining in the game.
Conley’s lob to Gobert tied the game again.
They were 107-109 with the Grizzlies in the lead as Mitchell drew a foul, dropping a bucket, and took a point lead.
Mitchell subsequently dropped a huge three-pointer and Gobert drew a foul, dropping a bucket.
Gobert denied Jackson right at the rim.
The Jazz made a 12-0 run, ending the game with a 121-111 win over the Grizzlies.
Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley sealed the win for the Jazz.
The Jazz started strong taking an 11 point lead in the first quarter and continued to dominate the Grizzlies until the Grizzlies made a comeback and tied the game in the fourth quarter.
The Grizzlies even took the lead in the final few minutes in the fourth quarter but with the help of Conley and Mitchell, the Jazz came up with a 12-0 run and ultimately defeat the Grizzlies.
Donovan Mitchell led the Jazz, scoring 29 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“When you have a guy with that much competitive fire, he’s going to make some things happen,” Utah Jazz Coach Quin Snyder said after Mitchell’s performance.
While Mike Conley Jr. dropped 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists against his former team.

“Honestly, I’m just happy for the win,” Conley said after the victory. “This is going to be a tough series. To come into a place like this, that I’m so familiar with, and be on the other side and hear the boos, definitely sets the stage. I’m happy with the win.”
All the starters scored in double-figures for the Jazz.
Rudy Gobert dropped 15 points and 14 rebounds double-double.
Bojan Bogdanovic finished with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and an assist.
Royce O’Neale dropped 12 points and 7 rebounds.

While Jordan Clarkson led the Jazz bench, dropping 15 points.
“We’ve got an unselfish group and guys hung in there. We talk about closing and we were able to do that tonight. It was the whole group,” Jazz head coach Quin Snyder said.
The Jazz’s defense late in the game helped the team to seal the victory.
“One of the things we’ve talked about is trying to get better defensively as the game goes on,” Snyder said. “Obviously Ja is such a terrific player. I thought, as much as anything, Mike Conley was unbelievable with his quickness and presence on the ball.”
Ja Morant continued his brilliant performance despite the loss.
The young Grizzlies team continued to fight until the final minutes of the game.
As they managed to spice up the game in the fourth quarter after falling behind as much as 11 points in the earlier quarters.
The Grizzlies managed to make a comeback and even took the lead in the final minutes of the game before ultimately losing to the Jazz’s defense.
Ja Morant continued his brilliant shooting despite the loss as he dropped 28 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists.
With the performance in this match, Ja becomes the fourth player in NBA history to drop 100+ PTS over his first three playoff games
He joins Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Besides Ja, Dillon Brooks also had an amazing night as he dropped 28 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Kyle Anderson dropped 11 points and 13 rebounds double-double along with 5 assists.
While Jonas Valanciunas also contributed 10 points and 13 rebounds double-double along with five assists.
On the other hand, Grayson Allen dropped 17 points with 3 rebounds.
Now both the team face each other again for Game 4 on Monday at FedEx Forum.
