Fitzpatrick spent the most of his career and started the most games of his career in Buffalo, where he went 20-33 in 53 regular-season starts from 2009 to 2012.

In 2010, Fitzpatrick threw for 3,000 yards, becoming the first Bills quarterback to do so since J.P. Losman in 2006.

Although unable to latch on as a long-term starter with the Bills, Fitzpatrick has remained a favorite among Bills fans.

The 39-year-old passed for 34,990 yards and 223 touchdowns in 166 career games, the most by a player who never played in a playoff game in NFL history, and ranks 32nd in league history.

Wishing him the best of health, happiness, and success on his new journey in life.
