Steph Curry wins NBA Finals MVP”

The sharp-shooting guard took home the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP Award.

Steph Curry leads Golden State Warriors to their fourth NBA title since 2015

Curry, a four-time NBA champion, had yet to earn the Finals MVP award, the one blemish on his Hall of Fame resume.

But, justifiably, that spot on his mantle has been filled, since he was by far the best player in the series against the Celtics.

Curry scored 34 points to lead the Warriors to a impressive win on the road. He averaged 31.2 points per game in the Finals, which was the best in the series.

Curry won the Magic Johnson Western Conference Finals MVP award for the first time last month for his performance against the Dallas Mavericks.

Curry now has the Finals MVP trophy to add to his two MVP titles from the regular season.

At 34 years old, Curry, has done all an NBA player can. His reputation as one of the best players in the history of the game has been reinforced. There's nothing left for Curry's detractors to point to, not that he ever cared.
