Adrian “Red” Autry, the head coach of the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team, has found unwavering support in his wife, Andrea Autry, whose dedication to her career and family has been integral to their shared success.

Adrian “Red” Christopher Autry (born February 28, 1972) is the head coach of the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team in the ACC.

A former point guard for Syracuse (1990–1994), he ranks fifth in career assists (631) and sixth in steals (217).

Autry played professionally in Europe and with USA Basketball from 1995 to 2005 before transitioning to coaching.

He held roles at Virginia Tech and Syracuse, eventually becoming associate head coach in 2016.

In 2023, Autry succeeded Jim Boeheim as Syracuse’s head coach. His coaching record stands at 24–14 (.632).

She is a Georgetown University graduate with a marketing degree.

Andrea has held notable positions, including Director of Marketing Communications at Elmcest Children’s Center and Marketing Manager for ESPN Magazine.

Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to enhancing organizational growth and developing innovative marketing strategies.

Since November 2020, Andrea has directed programs that leverage her extensive experience in communication and leadership, continuing to make significant contributions to her field.

In addition to her professional achievements, Andrea is dedicated to her family. She and Adrian reside with their four children in Jamesville, New York.

Two of their children, Aliyah and Adrian Jr., are graduates of Syracuse University.

At the same time, their youngest son, Trey, is a collegiate basketball player at George Washington University, following in his father’s footsteps.
