The young football player, Grayson Loftis, was born to his father, Shane Loftis, and mother, Amanda Loftis, on October 18, 2004, in Coral Gables, Florida.

Grayson Loftis is a promising young quarterback for the Duke Blue Devils. A sophomore, Loftis has already made quite an impressive mark on the field, all thanks to his skills.

Meanwhile, he becomes the second quarterback to declare his interest in heading to the transfer portal to find a new team, following a similar decision by Maalik Murphy.

The promising quarterback had a notable freshman season in 2023 but didn’t play as a quarterback in 2024.

The decision came after the coaching staff decided to redshirt him following Texas Longhorns transfer Maalik Murphy won the starting quarterback job a few weeks before the season began.

Loftis’s best performance was against North Carolina when he led Duke to a Birmingham Bowl victory. During the match, he threw for 189 yards and scored four touchdowns.

Grayson Loftis’s Parents, Shane, and Amanda Loftis Spent Eight Hours Exploring Duke During His Recruitment Process!

The 22-year-old quarterback Grayson Loftis owes much of his success to his parents, who have been nothing but his biggest cheerer since day one.

Their support is evident in their actions, as they have been deeply involved in Grayson’s athletic pursuits.

For instance, In January 2022, they were present by the quarterback’s side during his recruitment process. They visited Duke University together and spent around eight hours exploring the campus and meeting with coaches.

Five hours into their visit, the head coach, Mike Elko, offered Grayson a job with the team while they were in his office.

This speaks volumes about how much time Shane and Amanda spent enough time meticulously exploring the university.

During the visit, Grayson felt a strong connection to Duke, and with his parents’ support, he decided to commit to the Blue Devils.

Shane and Amanda Loftis aren’t just supportive parents; they have also created a tight-knit family throughout their prolonged marital life.

While the intricate details of their relationship remain away from the media, Shane and Amanda have been married for over two decades, 23 years to be precise.

According to Amanda’s Facebook, the couple walked down the aisle on May 23, 2003.

Originally from Greer, South Carolina, Amanda religiously shares her son’s accomplishments on her social account.

However, unlike Amanda, his father, Shane, isn’t available on social media. Likewise, Loftis also stays mum about his parents.

It appears the 6 feet 3 inches tall quarterback Loftis has a sister, analyzing Amanda’s Facebook profile. However, little to no information about his sibling is available online.
