His mother, Ashley, is a registered nurse at Paducah Vascular Institute and an acute dialysis nurse at Fresenius Medical Care.

She studied nursing at Western Kentucky University; in fact, Wilson was also going to the university where his mother had graduated.

He had been admitted to Western Kentucky University for the Fall of 2025. However, an accident cut short his dreams of graduating from WKU.

Wilson’s mother, Ashley, shared the news on her Facebook writing,

Senior Sunday with my Hilltopper! Can’t wait to see my baby boy at WKU!!

He played varsity boys’ football at McCracken County High School as a wide receiver and cornerback from 2020 until 2024.

Wilson’s recent track and field victories include first-place finishes in the Freshman 3200 and 1600 races and a strong second-place finish in the Freshman 800.

On the Boys Varsity Football team, Wilson was more than just a star athlete; he had a welcoming personality and inspired countless.

In the meantime, news of Wilson’s sudden demise has left a void among his family, friends, classmates, and the people around him.

One of his colleagues said, “Kingston was more than a teammate; he was a friend who made everyone feel important.”

Likewise, another heartfelt tribute from his friend stated, “We lost someone really special. His spirit will live on in all of us.“

McCracken County High School also extended its sympathies to Kingston Wilson’s family and acknowledged his on-field and off-field contributions.

Meanwhile, details of his funeral ceremonies are still to be released by his family—our sincere condolences to Wilson’s family and close relatives in this trauma.
