A father named Scott Houghtalen took to his Facebook page to share a heartbreaking story of his 16-year-old daughter who was sent inappropriate Snapchat messages by her cousin who is a midget football coach.

Scott has also shared the screenshots of their Snapchat conversation on the Facebook post.

Reportedly, on January 15, 2023, his then 16-year-old daughter told told him something upsetting. She said that her cousin, Jimmy Heikle, a 32-year-old midget football coach, had sent her inappropriate messages on Snapchat.

His daughter showed him the messages, which were troubling and wrong.

Jimmy had taken a full picture of her, cropped it to focus on her chest, and sent it back with a questionable message.

Worried for her safety, Scott reported the incident to the Carroll Township police department in York County.

He spoke with Officer Matt Shepley and gave a detailed report. However, a week later, he learned that Officers Shepley and Sergeant Schreiner couldn’t handle the case because they knew Jimmy from his coaching work.

This created a conflict of interest so the case was handed to a rookie officer, Jaquith. He interviewed Jimmy but sadly decided not to file charges.

Scott didn’t agree and took his concerns to the police chief and the York County district attorney’s office.

Eventually, a county detective stepped in to investigate the case. The detective even tried secret phone calls with Jimmy; however, after that, Scott never heard back about the results.

Scott didn’t want to give up hence he contacted the Susquehanna Township school district, where Jimmy might have been been involved with children. However, they never returned his call.

Later, an officer from the Susquehanna Township police department did contact him, promising to look into it. That said, still no charges were ever filed.

Scott expressed his disgust, thinking that Jimmy is still allowed around children, writing:

it’s sickens me that this person is allowed to be around children

He added more details to clear up misunderstandings. Scott explained that his daughter didn’t post the photo Jimmy asked about.

Instead, Jimmy had taken a full picture of her, cropped it to focus on her chest, and sent it back with a questionable message.

Scott stressed that no matter how she was dressed, Jimmy’s actions were wrong. He plans to share the full picture so people can see for themselves and judge his intent.
