Brittany Baize, a parent from Bartonville, Illinois, took to Facebook to share a bullying story about her son, as he faces harassment in Oak Grove school.
In her Facebook post, Baize claims that her son Hunter has been facing repeated harassment at school, leaving him scared and unwilling to attend lunch.
She described that Hunter was crying, hiding, and afraid to go to the lunchroom after being targeted by the same two students.

According to the Facebook post, the incident occurred when two classmates pushed Hunter and subsequently made fun of him for crying.
This appears to be a recurring problem for Hunter, particularly after the football season, with the same students targeting him repeatedly.
Despite multiple complaints to the school principal, the situation has not improved.
Being a parent, Brittany emphasized that the bullying extends beyond just the fifth grade and affects students across all grades at Oak Grove.
Concerned for her son’s mental health, she shared her frustration that the school seems unresponsive and stressed that immediate action is needed.
With the school authority not taking the required action, Brittiany has taken to Facebook to spread awareness and share her issue with others to make a difference.
Following her Facebook post, many have expressed their support, with a few asking her to contact the Education Board if the school is not responding.
On the other hand, a few ask her to talk with the bully’s parents and try to solve things on her own.
One in the comments says that she should teach her son to fight back, saying;
Probably unpopular opinion but Dave had the same issue and we kept running into the same problems you are. We finally told Dave to fight back and give them a taste of their own medicine. He did and it stopped a lot of the issues because he started talkin with his hands to them.
In response, Brittany claims that among the two bullies, one is taller and bigger than most of the school kids, so fighting back is not a viable option.
While Brittany claims that she has been doing things from her side, and could not change her son’s school due to the IEP.
As of now, concerned authorities and the Board of Education do not seem to be taking any action, so Brittany is seeking community support for her son’s mental health.
