Christina Chambers Carried Parents’ Love Through a Lifetime of Traditions

Christina Chambers passed away at 38, surrounded by the enduring love that she gave freely throughout her years.

She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, and granddaughter.

Christina Nicole Chambers, the daughter of Mary and Tim Chambers, was born on October 28, 1987, in Birmingham, Alabama.

She was the embodiment of the love raised in a close-knit family alongside her siblings.

Tim and Mary have been married for 45 years, and their foundation provided unwavering faith and partnership, showing Christina the true meaning of the Sacrament of Marriage.

Christina married the love of her life, Johnny Rimes, at the same family altar in August 2021. Later, they had a son, who is now 3 years old.

Her own devotion as a daughter was beautifully demonstrated in a 35-year tradition of preparing breakfast in bed for her amazing mother, Mary.

In a heartfelt tribute to her mother, she cherished recreating a wedding day photograph at that sacred altar, weaving a new generation into the family’s tapestry of love.

Sacred Heart is where I was Baptized, made my First Holy Communion, and was Confirmed. Words can’t describe how honored & blessed Jay and I were to say “I do” in this church that means so much to me & my family. God first. Then us. 🙏🏼

Christina’s life was profoundly shaped by her deep roots and cherished grandparents, Armando and Sally DeMarco. She held them as the “best treasures on earth.”

Her grandmother was a guiding light for 35 years, instilling in her a steadfast Catholic faith and the tenacity to never abandon her dreams.

She also shared a joyful bond with her grandfather, the oldest living first-generation Italian-American in their family, with whom she proudly shared her birthday.

Sadly, Armando passed away at 90, and Sally at 84.

To all those who have grandparents in your life, hug them dearly and spend time with them because grandparents simply are the best and life is short 🤍😘
