NBA Debut
After completing his senior year in college, Anderson appeared in the 2009 NBA Draft but could not get drafted.
Still, Anderson got a place in the training camp of the Charlotte Bobcats on October 22, 2009, But was waived by the Bobcats on October 22, 2009.
After leaving the Bobcats, Anderson signed with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League and played with the team for three months.
On February 22, 2010, the Bobcats traded Anderson to the Oklahoma City Thunder in two 10 days contracts.
Anderson returned to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers after the end of his two 10 days contracts with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
During Anderson’s time with the Oklahoma City Thunder, he recorded two points in an NBA game with players like Kevin Durant.
In 2010, Anderson extended his contract with the Vipers and sharpened his skills during his stay with them. Later he was exchanged for the Maine Red Claws.
International Career
In September 2011, Anderson signed a year deal with the Ratiopharm Ulm in Germany.
Anderson was not feeling welcomed in a foreign setting and could not focus on his game correctly. So after a few months, Anderson left the German team and returned to the US.
In November of the same year, Anderson joined the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League.
On December 25, 2011, he suffered a severe injury; consequently, the Red Claws released him from the contract.
