Racer James Dance, often known as “Dancey,” tragically lost his life due to an unfortunate accident over the weekend.

According to the reports, the Australian was still alive at the time of the accident, but sadly passed during the treatment procedures.

Dancey, the FMX Athlete, has been riding bikes for over 35 years and was passionate about riding from the age of seven.

On a journey from Amateur to professional, Dancey raced A-grade juniors and seniors Motocross in Western Australia. Shortly after getting experience, he made his debut on the FMX Show in 1998.

He was also one of the first 10 FMX riders in Australia, who specialized in Natural terrain jumps. Dancey did that for a living for 10 years before switching to Carpentry, and he did that all for his family.

Hundreds Of Tributes From Fans And Fellow Riders

Following Dancey’s passing, hundreds of heartfelt messages and posts have been shared by fans, family members, relatives, colleagues, and organizers. James was recalled as a Free rider for the Inspire Change Crew.

“We are saddened to hear of the passing of local rider James Dance “Dancey”. Apart of Inspire Change Crew’s Round 1 show at SandMasters, many would have seen him in action. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched along the way,” wrote RDMC “The Bud”.

GoFundMe page has also been created by Callum Baxter to help his beloved family, which has already received over 60 donations. The initial goal is to raise AUD $30000.

“No words can describe losing you. You gave me grey hair watching you ride over the years, you gave me love, laughs , and huge hugs , you were and always will be my beautiful boy. To all who have sent thoughts and support, thank you,” wrote Maz, James’ mother, who seems truly heartbroken after seeing her son and her husband pass away in a couple of years.

People will not only remember him as a true professional but also a Local Legend on the FMX Scene and a Genuine person.

Nigel Pearman also has a heartfelt message to share for the late James, “Yesterday we lost a legend of a bloke and man. James Dance you will be missed by many my bro, tears will flow by everyone you touched, a genuine and awesome guy. Love u Amz and Nate.”
