American college baseball coach Chris Lemonis’ wife, Jill MacEldowney, is a Coastal Carolina graduate.
Mississippi State University head baseball coach Chris Lemonis has signed a long-term contract extension.
He will now make a base salary of $1,250,000, with an annual increase of $25,000 yearly. Lemonis said,
“Never a day passes that I am not honored to be the head baseball coach at Mississippi State,” “I want to thank Dr. Mark Keenum, John Cohen and our administration for their belief in me, and I am looking forward to many more years in maroon and white. We are proud of what we have accomplished so far, and we are excited about the future as we strive for more championships.”

In his 1st season, Chris became the most successful first-year head coach in SEC history by leading his program to 52 victories.
He is also the fastest head coach in MSU history to reach 100 wins in just 130 games.
Under his guidance, the Bulldogs won the program’s first-ever national title, 9-0, against Vanderbilt, the defending champs, in the 2021 College World Series.
Lemonis also holds his club to a high standard off the field. MSU reports that the Bulldogs have achieved a 3.0 GPA or better each semester since Lemonis joined them.

Baseball coach Chris Lemonis, 55, married Jill MacEldowney after meeting at Myrtle Beach.
However, their exact wedding date has not been revealed.

In 2019, Jill and her husband Chris appeared at Dudy Noble Field in Starkville, Mississippi, and celebrated after Mississippi State won the Starkville Regional.
