“I think it’s outrageous. Video I saw is him being the aggressor and it was terrible. You shouldn’t be putting your hands on anyone else’s kid, especially at school. The incident on September 22, 2025, follows a prior altercation in early September 2025, during which Clarke was recorded engaging in a physical dispute with students.
At that time, he was a campus monitor at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek. Investigators found a disturbing video that shows Jamir swinging and punching a student inside the bathroom of the school.
Prosecutors noted this earlier event during Clarke’s bond hearing, a concerning pattern of behavior.
Regarding the incident, Broward County Public Schools stated that it was not made aware of the incident and video until after his arrest. The district wrote,
Clarke, who has been employed with BCPS since December 2024, is being reassigned while these incidents are reviewed for further action, up to and including termination
