Jason Couch of Huntsville, Alabama, and a beloved community member, is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Shelley Rae Roden, and their children.
Though the exact cause of his death has not been publicly shared, his passing has deeply affected those who knew him, both personally and professionally.
Jason Couch Was An Alumnus Of Huntsville High School!
Jason Couch was a Senior Talent Acquisition professional at Northrop Grumman Corporation, known for his dedication and leadership in the recruiting field.
He studied at Calhoun Community College and was a proud graduate of Buckhorn High School.
Later, he returned to Buckhorn as an Ice skating coach.
A lifelong resident of Huntsville, Alabama, Jason built strong roots in his community and shared his life with his partner, Shelley Rae Roden.
Together, they were devoted parents to two children, SJ and Cooper, who have the best dad ever.
Shelly once described Jason as the best dad to their children, wishing him on his birthdays, saying:
This man NEVER disappoints. Happy early Birthday to me. I love you,Jason Couch! Thank you, for everything you do for our little family. And the suprise trip for my birthday! (Jason, is really a one in a million)
don’t tell him
SJ and Cooper have the best dad ever.
Mom: the best man and boyfriend ever!
Jason’s death has left a profound void in the Huntsville community and among his coworkers, friends, and loved ones.
Tributes have poured in, with many remembering his humor, compassion, and the joy he brought to everyday moments.
One of his friends recalled a hilarious memory from a trip to Colorado Springs, where Jason turned a corporate car ride into a spirited singalong, saying:
We were in Colorado Springs in July for a hiring event we were hosting, and I had gotten the rental car and was playing chauffeur to Jason and 2 members of our team. I hook up the aux to my music, and it immediately plays what I’d been listening to last: “Chickenhead” by Project Pat
I reached to quickly turn the song and Jason went IN. Knew every word (as did I) so we had impromptu ratchet karaoke on our way to our very professional, very corporate office.
“Yo ride clean but yo gas tank is on E
Be stepping out ain’t got no decent shoes on yo feet”
We will miss our team’s hype man and everyone’s friend in ways I can’t even describe.
Funeral and celebration of life details have not been publicly announced yet.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jason Couch’s family, friends, and well-wishers.
Rest In Peace, Jason!
