Beverley Allen, a former pub landlord, met Christian Horner in 1999 when he was still an aspiring racing driver.
She was six years his senior and became a steady presence in his life as he transitioned from a driver to a team boss, eventually taking the leading role at Red Bull Racing in 2005.
The couple lived in a lavish Oxfordshire mansion and raised chickens, ducks, dogs, and even miniature ponies.
During their time together, Christian acted as a stepfather to Allen’s two sons from a previous relationship, Kieron and Liam.
