Davis High School assistant coach Spencer Elliott is mourning the loss of his beloved wife, Brytni Elliott, who tragically passed away in an accident.

Coach Spencer Elliott is a well-known track and field coach and English teacher at Davis Senior High School in California, where he has led both the boys’ and girls’ teams.

He began his track and field career at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California.

Moreover, he ran sprints, including the 400m and 200m, at Saint Francis and later competed at UC Davis.

Since 2004, he has been coaching track and field at DSH school.

Over the years, he’s earned major honors, including All-Metro Coach of the Year in 2007, California Girls Coach of the Year in 2008, and Boys Coach of the Year in 2019.

Brytni Elliott Is Survived By Her Husband, Coach Spencer, And Their Three Children!

Recently, Coach Spencer Elliott experienced a devastating personal tragedy when his wife, Brytni Elliott, was killed in a car accident caused by a drunk driver.

The vehicle was struck head-on by a pickup truck driven by an intoxicated driver on Boat Club Road.

Some people mistakenly shared news of Spencer Elliott’s death, but close sources confirm it was his wife, Brytni, who tragically passed away.

The crash also injured Spencer and their middle daughter. Both of them underwent surgeries and are expected to recover, though their journey ahead will be long and difficult.

The driver, who has not yet been publicly identified by Fort Worth Police, faces two counts of intoxication assault and one count of intoxication manslaughter.

One of Brytni’s close friends shared this news via Facebook post, saying:

A tragic car accident has struck this family. My friend Brytni Elliott lost her life due to a drunk driver. Her husband and my friend Spencer Elliott, and middle daughter were injured, but fortunately, they are going to be alright. Please keep them in your prayers

I will miss you so much Brytni but I know you are rejoicing with the Lord. Until we meet again my dear friend

Brytni, a mother of three daughters, was the Director of Nursing and the ultimate sports mom.

Originally from Saginaw, she resided in Fort Worth, Texas, with her family, which included her husband and children.

Coach Spencer Elliott proposed to Brytni in 2018, and together they built a fulfilling life, supporting each other and lovingly raising their children.

Tragically, one vital part of that support is now gone. The loss has deeply shaken the Elliott family and the entire community.

Brytni was remembered as a beloved friend and faithful soul. Many of her friends and nearest ones offered tributes and prayers for the Elliott family.

Moreover, hundreds of students, staff, and community members gathered at the 50-yard line of Keller ISD’s athletic field to pray for the Elliott family.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Brytni’s family, friends, and well-wishers.

Rest In Peace, Beautiful Soul!
