Maggie Larimer Atkins served as the Director of Baseball Communications and Operations for Seattle Select Baseball, a premier youth baseball organization based in Shoreline, Washington.
In her role, Maggie oversaw communications, organizational coordination, and program operations, ensuring that players, families, and coaches remained connected within the club’s competitive baseball environment.
She was the brightest light, the biggest cheerleader, and a true superwoman who worked tirelessly to create the best experiences for her family and Seattle Select Baseball community.
Maggie Larimer Atkins Passed Away, Leaving Everyone Devastated
According to reports, Maggie Larimer Atkins passed away in October 2025 at the age of 42. However, the cause of death has not been revealed yet.
Seattle Select Baseball took to their official Facebook handle to announce the tragic news. They wrote,
It is with immense sadness that we share the passing of Maggie Larimer-Atkins, a beloved member of our Seattle Select family who poured her heart into leading and organizing our program. Maggie was the brightest light, the biggest cheerleader, and a true superwoman who worked tirelessly to create the best experiences for her family and this baseball community. She poured her heart into holding this club together, giving our boys a place to learn, grow, and play the game they love. At this time, we ask that everyone keep David, Parker, Bianca, and Paisley in your hearts and prayers as they navigate this sudden and heartbreaking loss.

Becky Rudzinski, a graduate of Sammamish High School, took to the comment section and mourned the loss of Maggie. She wrote,
I’m so sad by this news. I had her stored in my phone as “Seattle Select Magic Maker”, and she truly was magical! I really enjoyed chatting with her while I waited for practice to end. Why is it always the best ones that leave so early. She will stay forever in my heart as a warm and loving person, who truly loved and cared about the boys, and the families they drug around with them.

The campaign aims to collect around $15k, and it has already collected $11,694.

Maggie Larimer Atkins was married to David Atkins on October 2, 2016.
According to David’s Facebook profile, he is originally from Seattle, Washington, and currently resides in Snohomish.
Sadly, their married life ended after nine years following the tragic death of Maggie.
David posted a photo of Maggie on his Facebook handle as a tribute.
Maggie and David were blessed with one son and two daughters.
They are mourning the death of their devoted and supportive mother, Maggie.
