Harry Kane was injured late after scoring two goals to save Tottenham’s point against Everton at Goodison Park.
Nine days before the Carabao Cup final and 58 days before England’s opening European Championship, Kane suffered a concussion while standing with an ankle injury.
The striker appeared to be on a downward spiral after jumping on his head while defending a corner in the evening.
Manager Jose Mourinho said that he did not know how serious the injury was.
“That is also a question that I want an immediate answer to but very early in the morning,” Mourinho said.
“To get out is not because it is nothing; it is.
“We have all felt the same fear of something that is preventing him from playing on Wednesday against Southampton in the Premier League. And especially on Sunday the Carabao Cup final, but we’ll see.”
Kane had been very good at clinics, using two Everton defensive errors to put Spurs ahead in the first half. And hold the equalizer in the second half.
Amid Kane’s strikes, Gylfi Sigurdsson rallied in the penalty area and gave Everton the lead by finishing the team’s best goal.
Everton pressed hard to win and had a good chance of winning. But Hugo Lloris saved Joshua King’s effort, and Richarlison shot back 12 yards.
The draw did not fit either side to pursue European football, with Tottenham sitting in seventh place. Five points behind West Ham, and Everton in fourth place with the worst spot. Despite having a game in hand.
Kane rescue, but how much?
Kane walks gingerly before bending over and holding his right ankle will cause panic among all Tottenham and England fans.
He left the field at will but did so immediately, shaking his head.
Kane has also suffered a series of ankle injuries in the past, which adds to the anxiety.
In 2018-19 he had two critical injuries with a left ankle injury. And in 2017-18, he missed a month of damage to his right ankle.

He also endured a separate absence of six to four weeks during the 2016-17 campaign.
Earlier in the season, he injured both ankles at first but eventually returned sooner than expected.
“It’s always annoying when you see him limping because he doesn’t fall easily.” teammate Eric Dier told Sky Sports.
“He’s very knocking. It’s in the early days to say how bad it is, but I’m sure he’s a tough guy. So he’ll do his best to prepare himself.”
Kane had previously shown his tremendous importance to his team again. By hitting two quick heads from his only chances in Spurs’ unique performance. He has been instrumental in 62 goals in 62 appearances under Jose Mourinho.
His latest strikes were the 20th and 21st this season. The strikes are knocking him out twice in a gold boot race.
They also promoted him to seventh place in the Premier League’s all-time charter, clearly Robbie Fowler and Jermain Defoe.
Mistakes call for Everton’s improvement.
Everton made significant strikes in their toothless performances when they drew 0-0 with Brighton on Monday. It was a two-goal backline that cost them three points.

With Kane’s opening Michael Keane suffered a head injury. And put across in the path of the Spurs striker while the England defender was also involved in Kane’s second goal.
When a soft cross came in, he swung the ball between his defender Mason Holgate and deflected it into Kane’s box. Secondly, Kane gave the returning Jordan Pickford a chance.
There were some good signs in all of Everton’s performances, though. They made chances despite the absence of their top scorer Dominic Calvert-Lewin due to injury.
Sigurdsson’s second was an excellent left-footed guide in a far corner from Seamus Coleman’s cross after the Irish international played twice with Richarlison.
Everton also benefited from the frustration of Sergio Reguilon. Who rushed after James Rodriguez to play Colombian for an Everton penalty. There was not much communication but enough kick-kick delivery.
The Tories are now five games without a win in the league, but this has been an encouraging show.
“If we make a few mistakes in the box, we can win the game,” said manager Carlo Ancelotti.
“It was one of the best games that we have played here at home. We opened up opportunities to win this game.”
