Shaq Mason, an American professional football offensive guard, is a proud father to his four kids, Haizel, Kamrie Maleah, Zai, and Izzy.

He was in a relationship with his high school girlfriend, Sabrina Gonzalez, a former soccer player at Martin Methodist College.

Mason, who won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, has always been in the spotlight for his athletic accomplishments.

However, this time, social media is buzzing with the news of his arrest.

The Franklin Police Department announced his arrest in Franklin on Wednesday following a domestic incident. They arrested him during a traffic stop on August 27.

According to an arrest affidavit, he broke into the residence of the mother of his child in Franklin at around 3:11 AM and assaulted her. She stated that Mason choked her, took her necklace, and threatened to kill her.

The offensive guard was charged with aggravated assault, burglary, harassment, and driving on a suspended license. His bond has been set at $150,000.

Shaq Mason has a Daughter with his High School Girlfriend

Long before Shaq Mason became an NFL star, he was a high school student in Columbia, Tennessee, where he began dating Sabrina Ranae Gonzalez.

Gonzalez, the daughter of Omar and Hillary Craig, was an athlete in her own right. She grew up with her two siblings, Jessica and Julian.

After high school, Gonzalez continued her soccer career at Martin Methodist College.

Her time on the team included taking a medical redshirt year in 2014 and playing in 13 matches during the 2015 season.

Mason and Gonzalez’s lives changed forever when Sabrina gave birth to their daughter, Kamrie Maleah Mason, on August 7, 2014. Kamrie lived with Sabrina and her grandmother in Columbia, Tennessee.

Despite the four-hour drive, the family remained very close. Sabrina and Kamrie often made the trip to visit Shaq in Atlanta every other weekend.

Kamrie usually got to see her father after he finished his work in the field, and later, their time was dedicated to fun activities.

The offensive guard cherishes precious moments with his baby girl.

Not too long ago we all went to the aquarium. She was too young to know what was going on, but we went to the aquarium and we enjoyed that. But most of the time we just chill. I just spend as much time with her as possible since I don’t see her as much, so I just try to get that quality time in.

Completing the crew is his young son, 3-year-old Zai, who brings a special energy to the family.

Mason is known for his strength and toughness on the field, but his social media posts reveal a softer side, which is dedicated to celebrating his children’s milestones and birthdays.
