Kevin Bowers, a former basketball coach, has passed away at the age of 62.
Bowers was born to his father, Alfred, and his mother, Jean Bowers.
He grew up in Belvidere and went on to build a life centered around family, hard work, and the things he loved most.
Kevin had a true passion for coaching basketball, where he made a lasting impact on the lives of many young athletes.
He was a devoted fan of UConn women’s basketball and rarely missed a game.
Outside of the court, Jevin found joy in breeding and running beagles.
Moreover, he was an active member of the Warren County Beagle Club and the Jersey Central Beagle Club.

He was born on June 2, 1963, in Phillipsburg, NJ, to Alfred and Jean Bowers.
As per his family, a memorial visitation will be held on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rupell Funeral Home, LLC.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice (99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860).
He will always be remembered for his unforgettable contributions as a coach.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Karen, of 39 years, and two children, Justine and Austin.
Justine tied the knot with Nathan while Austin married Agustina.
He had three grandchildren: Raelyn, Juliet, and Quinn. Bower shared a close bond with his brother, David.
Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Jean Bowers; his brother Alfred Jr, and his daughter, Natasha.
