Tyler Wall, known in the MrBeast video as Coach Wall, was a personal trainer, fitness coach, and ice hockey coach.
He played a central role in MrBeast’s emotional and transformative weight loss challenge video featuring MrBeast’s friend Majd.
Tyler helped Majd and pushed him through a challenge to lose 100 pounds while isolated in a gym facility for over 178 days.
According to MrBeast’s team, Tyler worked closely with Majd during the early phase of the challenge, providing emotional and motivational support.

Tyler James Wall passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, in Greenville, North Carolina, at 38.
As per the sources, he was found dead in his apartment. The cause of death has not been identified.
His life was celebrated on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Southington.
Recently, MrBeast took to his official YouTube channel and paid tribute to Tyler through a video titled “Lose 100 LBs, Win $250,000.
In the video, Tyler James Wall helped a contestant, Majd, lose around 100 pounds. In the description section of the video, MrBeast wrote,

Born in 1987 in Southington, United States, Tyler James Wall was raised by his father, Bruce Wall, and his mother, Nancy Caron Wall.
Although his parents stayed away from the media spotlight, they always supported Tyler in achieving his goals.
Currently, Bruce and Nancy are mourning the tragic loss of their son, Tyler.
He is also survived by his sister, Kaitlyn Lindsay, who has been married to Jake Lindsay. They share two children, Coleton and Vera Lindsay.
According to Kaitlyn’s Facebook profile, she resides in Virginia and serves as a teacher for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
