As a junior in the 1988-89 season, Brianna’s father, Howard Turner, appeared in 18 games, starting 12, and averaged 20.3 minutes per game.
Likewise, Howard was an efficient scorer, shooting 54% from the field and averaging 7.8 points per game. He contributed 3.3 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game.
He played primarily as a forward/post and was a key player on the Lamar Cardinals men’s basketball team.

Over her four-year collegiate career, Kellye appeared in 118 games, averaging 4.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
Kellye had a field goal percentage of 41.6% and a free throw percentage of 51.9%.

She further joined the Child Sex Trafficking Team (CSTT) in 2023, and for over ten years, she has been serving as the Captain in the Houston Criminal Investigation Division.
