Casey Foyt Irsay, who recently became the co-owner and executive vice president of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts on June 9, 205, following the passing of her father, Jim Irsay, has sparked public curiosity about her personal life.

Casey Irsay, one of three daughters of the late Indianapolis Colts owner and CEO Jim Irsay, joined the team in 2007 as a vice chair and has recently made headlines with her new leadership role.

As she continues to capture public attention, many are now curious about her personal life, including details about her husband and children, since the Colts co-owner has kept much of her private life out of the spotlight.

Casey Irsay married her husband, Anthony Joseph Foyt IV, also known as A.J. Foyt IV, in 2009, and the couple has been happily married for over 15 years.

The couple is also proud parents of five children, three sons and two daughters. Their eldest son, A.J. Foyt V, is a rising hockey prospect who competes at a national level.

Furthermore, A.J. Foyt has been serving as the scouting assistant of the Indianapolis Colts since 2010 and has worked closely with his longtime wife, Casey Irsay.

However, before being known as the husband of Casey Irsay, A.J. Foyt had already made his name in the sports world as a renowned NASCAR and IndyCar Series racer.

Casey Irsay’s Husband, A. J. Foyt IV, Comes From A Dynasty Of Racing Stars

A.J. Foyt IV, born on May 25, 1984, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Nancy and Anthony Foyt III, comes from a renowned racing dynasty, with his grandfather, A.J. Foyt, widely recognized as one of the all-time greats in race car driving.

His grandfather, Anthony Joseph Foyt Jr., aka A.J. Foyt, became the first four-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 and holds the most American National Championship titles in history, winning seven, and is a NASCAR Hall of Famer.

Furthermore, A.J. Foyt IV’s grandfather is the only driver to win the Daytona 500, the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Daytona, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

In addition to his grandfather, his cousin Larry Foyt is also an American former NASCAR and IndyCar driver, currently serving as the team principal for A.J. Foyt Enterprises.

Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, A.J. Foyt IV began racing Junior Dragsters at the age of 9 and won two championships with it.

He further signed to drive for the team in the newly formed Infiniti Pro Series in 2002 and won the championship with four wins and four pole positions in seven events.

Similarly, passing his rookie test at Texas Motor Speedway on October 31, 2002, A.J. earned his Indy Racing League racing license and progressed to Foyt Enterprises’ IRL IndyCar Series team for the 2003 season, finishing 21st in the final standings and becoming the youngest driver ever to compete at the Indy 500 at the age of 19.

A.J. Foyt IV continued his racing career in the NASCAR Busch Series, driving the No. 38 car for Akins Motorsports.

While in NASCAR, A.J. competed in the final rounds of the 2005 Busch Series in the No. 38 car and finished outside the top twenty in all of them.

He then returned to IndyCar in 2006, where he raced until 2010 before retiring from professional racing.

Upon his return to IndyCar, Foyt drove for the 2005 IndyCar Championship team, Andretti Green Racing, and Vision Racing.

In addition to his professional racing career, Foyt also appeared in the 2005 film The Dukes of Hazzard as a Race Car Driver and as a guest on the 2006 TV Series Racin’ for a Livin’.
