Jane Skinner, born on February 12, 1967, is a retired daytime news anchor. She worked for Fox News as co-host of Happening Now and Jon Scott from 11 am to 1 pm E.T. throughout her career.

However, she announced her retirement from her daytime news anchor position at the end of her usual Happening Now segment. She told the news on June 24, 2010.

Her father’s name is Same Skinner, and her mother is Susan Ann Thomas. Unfortunately, her biological parents are not together anymore.

In addition, she also has two brothers Thomas Vernon Skinner and Steven Knox Skinner. 

Same is currently married to Honey Jacobs Skinner, a former partner at Sidley Austin LLP’s law firm. 

Jane Skinner’s father is a former White House Chief of Staff 

Skinner’s father, Samuel Knox Skinner, is an American lawyer, politician, and businessman. Samuel served as White House Chief of Staff and U.S. Secretary of Transportation under President George H. W. Bush. 

Previous to the Bush administration, he served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. He did his duty under President Gerald R. Ford.

In 2017, Skinner was awarded the Order of Lincoln (the state’s highest honor) by the governor of Illinois in government and law. In addition, Skinner was inducted as a laureate of the Lincoln Academy of Illinois. 

He currently resides in Winnetka, Illinois, with his second wife, Honey Jacobs Skinner. Together, they have two sons, William Curran Skinner and Samuel Jacobs Skinner.

Skinner commenced her career as a political correspondent for KJBR- T.V. based in Duluth, Minnesota. Later she joined Fox News from WNBC-TV in New York City as a general reporter. 

Moreover, she also worked at WITI based in Milwaukee. She worked as an anchor establishing the station’s primetime newscast after that station became a Fox affiliate.

In 2019, Jane Skinner returned to television as the executive producer of a 90-minute documentary named A Lifetime of Sundays.

Roger began his NFL career in 1982 as an administrative intern in the NFL office in New York under then-Commissioner Pete Rozelle.

He enrolled in the New York Jets as an intern in 1983; however, in 1984 returned to the league office in the public relations department as an assistant.
