Salisbury Teen and Kent School Multi-Sports Athlete Shea Cassidy-Teti, 17, Killed in Tragic Car Accident; Parents Aidan and Charles Injured

Shea Cassidy-Teti, a Salisbury, Connecticut resident and student-athlete at Kent School, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, in a tragic accident at an untimely age of 17, leaving his loved ones shattered.

According to reports, Shea Cassidy-Teti lost his life in a tragic car accident while travelling with his parents, Aidan Cassidy and Charles Teti.

While Shea was pronounced dead at the scene, his parents, Aidan and Charles, who were both injured, are currently receiving medical care and recovering.

No further information regarding the accident has yet been disclosed, and the investigation is ongoing.

Similarly, the untimely death of Shea Cassidy-Teti has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.

Shea was a cherished student-athlete at Kent School, where he touched the lives of many with his exceptional athletic skills, excelling in multiple sports.

He played for the boys’ varsity tennis and football teams, leading his teams to several victories.

Likewise, many of his loved ones are paying tribute to the late Shea Cassidy-Teti and extending their heartfelt condolences to the family, and praying for the speedy recovery of his parents.

In addition to his parents, Charles and Aidan, Shea Cassidy-Teti is survived by his twin brother, Nash, and the entire family.

Shea Cassidy-Teti’s parents, Charles and Aidan, are both successful businessmen.

They established a guesthouse in Salisbury Village named 9 Academy in 2023 and have been successfully running the business.

His father, Charles Teti, has also served as creative design and brand executive at Charles Teti Consulting since 2020.

Prior to that, Charles was a senior vice president of design and creative at Vineyard Vines in Stamford, Connecticut, and Senior Vice President of Design, Men’s at American Eagle Outfitters Inc. for 13 years.

Charles also served as vice president of design for several renowned brands, including J.Crew, Pepe Jeans, and Banana Republic. He earned his BFA in Apparel Design from Rhode Island School of Design.

Likewise, Shea’s other father, Aidan Cassidy, has been the owner of Cassidy and Teti Interiors since 1999. Prior to that, he served as a licensed real estate agent at Compass for nearly five years. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kingston.
