My coach and mentor Paul Brodmerkel. Brods was more than a coach. He was a big brother and I loved him. He was one of the reasons I went into teaching and coaching. I’ll never forget you man. Rest easy Paul. Until we see each other again, may the lord hold you in the palm of his hand.

A heartfelt goodbye to a great person. Paul Brodmerkel, may you rest in peace. One of a kind. Friend to my dad, friend to me and my siblings. A mentor, a leader, a great boss. Best boss I ever had. I love Susie and their 2 beautiful kids. Brods meant the world to so many people, but he meant so much to the Corcoran family. Whether it was lifeguarding, wrestling or just hanging out on the beach Brods was there with a smile and a story. HOF story teller. Maybe the GOAT (it’s either him or Tom Howard for that) hes gone way too soon and I will remember all the great times we had at Cedar Beach. RIP Paul.
