Beloved Midlothian, Texas Multi-Sports Youth Coach David Moore Passes Away After Heart Attack, Survived by Wife Christy and Family

Red Oak, Midlothian, Texas, communities are mourning the untimely death of beloved longtime youth coach and entrepreneur David Moore.

According to loved ones, David Moore passed away on Monday morning, December 15, 2025, after suffering a heart attack, leaving his family and loved ones devastated.

A native of Red Oak, Texas, David Moore was a cherished member of the Red Oak and Midlothian sports community and touched the lives of numerous young athletes with his amazing coaching skills.

He served as the head coach of Midlothian Girls Softball 10u Cats until his passing, leading his team in several victories.

Additionally, David served as Midlothian Youth Football League coach, guiding numerous youth athletes and shaping their future in sports.

MYFL took to its official social media to pay tribute to its beloved coach and wrote:

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of David Moore. David was a part of our MYFL family as a coach, where he dedicated his time and heart to helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.Coach David meant so much to our players, families, and fellow coaches—not just for his time on the field, but for the positive impact he had on young athletes’ lives. His passion for the game and commitment to mentoring kids will not be forgotten.Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Coach David’s family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We ask our community to keep them in your prayers as they navigate this loss.Once a part of our organization, always a part of our family. 🖤”

Beyond football and softball, David Moore also coached basketball and baseball, leaving a lasting impact on countless kids and their families.

David Moore Was Also a Proud Businessman

In addition to his coaching career, David Moore also thrived in his career as a great entrepreneur.

He was the owner of Z&P Construction Inc. and Black & Moore Auction Services in Texas.

Prior to establishing his own business, David served as facility manager and director of facilities at Texans Can Academies for over 15 years.

He also owned an electric service named Alpha Electric, where he also served as an electrician from 2004 to 200,8 and served as manager at Rubens Paint and Body for over three years.

David Moore graduated from Red Oak High School in 1995 and earned his general studies degree from Cedar Valley College in 2001.

David Moore’s contribution to the Red Oak and Midlothian community as an exceptional coach and an entrepreneur will always be remembered.

Furthermore, many of his loved ones are paying tribute to the late David Moore and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Midlothian, Texas community has also created a GoFundMe to ease the financial burden of David’s family and cover his funeral and memorial expenses.

David Moore is survived by his wife, Christy Moore, his daughter Kaylee Hullett, his grandchildren, and the entire family.

His family will soon provide details about his funeral and memorial services.
