Canadian professional bodybuilder Chris Bumstead has openly shared that Steroids were a part of his Mr. Olympia journey.
According to Mr. Olympia, he takes Steroids in a careful approach, using only what’s needed to improve his physique while focusing on his health.
CBum Chris Bumstead Opens Up About Minimal Steroid Use, But Says Diet and Training Are Key!
The 30-year-old bodybuilder Chris Bumstead is no stranger to the use of Steroids, while not confirmed, reports say that he started using such hormones at 22.
Chris made his Olympia journey in 2016, claiming the 2016 IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championship title.
Over the next few years, he steadily improved, gaining recognition for his physique and even finishing second in the 2017 and 2018 Classic Physique Olympia.
After 2016, Crish took part in the Classic Physique Olympia, which led to him achieving the 1st place in 2019, earning him his first Mr. Olympia title.
Following that, Crish successfully defended his title for six consecutive years, becoming one of the most dominant athletes in the Classic Physique category.
So, while he achieved these titles through disciplined training, diet, and genetics, he has acknowledged that steroids were part of his preparation.
Despite the fact that he uses steroids, other champions, such as Greg Doucette, say Chris has natural ability and could be one of the best.
Chris was open about the use of these hormones from the beginning, but the media caught attention when Chris mentioned the use and his diet regarding steroids on his YouTube channel a few years ago.
In the video, he clearly shared his diet plan and the use of steroids. He did not explicitly mention the words “steroids,” but he discussed his diet and the substances he was using.
My supplements have been very low. I’m trying not to say specific words because I don’t like talking about it, people take stuff, run with it, and copy it, and I don’t want that to be the point. The point I want to make is that getting the most out of the least is something all bodybuilders should try to do. I’ve been focusing on my health, I got a new doctor, and I’ve been doing blood work, which has been progressively getting better. The more you know, the more you can handle, and that has helped with my stress around my health due to my autoimmune condition. I’ve been using a very low dose in my supplements, around 200 mg, and I come off completely once a year. Later, I plan to increase to around 500 mg, which would be my peak off-season. With that, my body can easily get up to 265 pounds if I’m training and eating perfectly.
Despite using the steroids, CBum never promotes the use of such hormones and says that if used, one must never forget the basic training and diet.
