Carolyn Golding, wife of Ole Miss head coach Pete Golding, is a devoted mother of three and a supportive partner who values privacy while standing strongly behind her husband’s coaching career.

Pete Golding is an American football coach best known for his defensive expertise.

He worked as Alabama’s defensive coordinator under Nick Saban from 2018 to 2022 before joining Ole Miss in 2023 as defensive coordinator.

Moreover, he helped Ole Miss build one of the strongest defenses in the SEC and guided the team to the College Football Playoff.

In November 2025, he was promoted to head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels following Lane Kiffin’s departure to LSU.

This is Golding’s first head coaching job, and his promotion is seen as a big step for both him and the program.

Pete Golding And His Wife, Carolyn, Have Been Together For 14 Years!

Pete Golding is married to Carolyn Golding, and together they have three children named Braxton, Bentley, and Bailey.

The couple has been married since 2011, after Carolyn completed her studies at the University of Mississippi.

Carolyn has a strong academic and community background in Mississippi.

She graduated from Cleveland High School in May 2003 and later earned her degree from the University of Mississippi in May 2011.

Professionally, Carolyn has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and previously at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Carolyn has chosen to maintain her privacy and is not active on social media or other public platforms.

Despite keeping a low profile, it is well known that she plays an active and supportive role in her husband’s coaching career while also dedicating herself to raising their three children.
