Cassie Nichole Hutton, a former girls’ softball player at Page County High School, passed away at the age of 28 on October 15, 2025.
Her generous heart, vibrant spirit, and infectious smile had brought light, love, and laughter to everyone who knew her.
Cassie was a proud graduate of Page County High School, remembered for her passion and dedication both on and off the field.
During her time at the high school, she was a standout member of the Girls’ Softball team. Her talent and leadership helped the team win back-to-back state championships in 2014 and 2015.
Her love for the sport was perfectly captured at her graduation in 2015 when she received her high school diploma on the Radford University softball field.
Later, she graduated from Radford University in 2019 and worked at Massanutten Resort. Her legacy is one of triumph, team spirit, and a deep commitment to her passions.
It is with deep sorrow that I must inform the PCHS Class of 2015 about the tragic passing of fellow classmate Cassie Hutton. Cassie was much more than a classmate to many of us, she was a dear friend. You didn’t have to know Cassie to know that she was the type of person that would be there for you or just be someone that would be a listening ear in times of trouble.
