Known for his tireless dedication to youth sports, Jordan’s influence reached far beyond the baseball diamond or football field, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and compassion.

Ryan Jordan joined the Portland Little League board in 2018 and immediately made an impact.

In his very first year, he spearheaded a redesign of the AA baseball program, improving opportunities for players and enhancing the league’s overall structure.

His leadership and vision quickly earned him the role of President, a position he held from 2019 to 2022.

During his tenure, Jordan worked to expand opportunities for all players and invited new members to join the board, ensuring that the organization would continue to thrive for years to come.

Even after his presidency, Jordan remained a devoted contributor to youth sports.

He gave countless hours to football, basketball, and baseball programs in Portland, coaching not only his sons, Bailey and Quinn, but also mentoring their teammates.

His dedication was evident both on the sidelines and behind the scenes, as he poured his energy into building programs that shaped young athletes into confident, disciplined individuals.

Portland High School Football paid tribute to Jordan, calling him more than a parent, but “a cornerstone of Portland youth sports.”

His guidance, kindness, and determination inspired players and coaches alike, leaving a mark that will continue to be felt every time athletes step onto the field.

To his wife, Stephanie, and his sons, Bailey and Quinn, both Portland athletes, the community has offered its deepest condolences and unwavering support.

Portland Little League expressed gratitude for the time Jordan gave, acknowledging how profoundly he touched the lives of so many families.

Ryan Jordan’s death is not only a personal tragedy for his family but also a tremendous loss for the broader Portland community.

His vision, passion, and commitment to youth sports built a foundation that will endure, reminding everyone that his spirit lives on in every game played and every young athlete inspired by his leadership.
