The year 2016

Back in 2016, Lochte fell into the abyss of controversy after he and his other American swimmers claimed that they were robbed by armed men with police badges.

They fell into it back when they were in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

According to the generated international controversy, they started that those weren’t the armed police robbers but the security guards.

As per the report, the swimmers urinated outside the washroom in the gas station.

Back in June 2018, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency suspended Lochte for fourteen months for receiving a “prohibited intravenous infusion.”

According to the reports, he had posted an Instagram post with the hashtag #ivdrip.
