After Tyler Badie’s injury in his recent game, fans are worried about his health condition.

Not just about him, but also about his parents who witnessed it happen!

“Terrifying scenes as NFL star Tyler Badie collapses on sidelines and is stretchered away in neck brace after smacking head on turf: Slow-motion replays showed the running back landing awkwardly on his head and neck during a play for the Broncos against the Jets, before returning to the sideline, where he then collapsed.”

His mother, Tanjala T. Gipson, is a Board-certified, residency-trained Neurologist with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities who works at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

She majored in Biology and completed her Bachelor in Science from Xavier University of Louisiana in 1998.

She then went on to pursue her MD, majoring in Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Science Center and finally obtaining her degree in 2004.

In addition to this, she is also an author and speaker.

She released her first book, “Square One For Autism,” for parents and caregivers of individuals with autism.

As a Child Neurology specialist, she seems to be a very hands-on mother and understands the importance of parental involvement in a child’s life and development.

She seems to attend her son’s games along with her husband, Shaun Badie, to cheer for Tyler.

They even coordinated their outfits for the game. How sweet, isn’t it?

His father, Shaun Badie, replied to his wife’s post, praying for their son.

He occasionally posts on social media (almost all posts relate to his son); however, not much is known about him.

Shaun is very supportive of his son and is willing to help him achieve his goals.

According to a source,

” Shaun Badie wasn’t 100 percent sure if his son was serious about football.”
“Tyler Badie was a bubbly, happy kid — and a bit of a jokester. His dad thought the 6-year-old might have picked up flag football as a way to hang out with friends.”

However, Shaun learned that his son would turn into a completely different person when he is on the field.

Now, Shaun says that,

“(I enjoyed) that excitement and buzz that he brought to the sport and that anticipation of people saying, ‘I need to be a part of something special that could happen, when they look at him on TV now and they can say, ‘Oh, I remember this kid. Ten, 12 years ago, he did this in this game.'”

A proud dad, a fan, and one of his strongest supporters, Shaun loves his son. So much so that once he realized his son’s potential, he recorded all of Tyler’s games, be it on the Streets, in the Backyard, or on the playground.

It seems that Tyler grew up basking in his parents’ endless love and support and has a great relationship with his family.

His parents are the ones who nurtured him and helped him reach the place he is today.
