Richmond, Virginia Community Mourns the Untimely Loss of Beloved Resident and Certified Personal Trainer Adam Turck

Adam Turck, a longtime Richmond, Virginia, resident, actor, and certified personal trainer, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at an untimely age, leaving his family, friends, and loved ones devastated.

While the information regarding the actual cause and manner of the untimely death of Adam Turck is not yet available, many of his loved ones are paying tribute to the versatile actor and trainer.

Adam Turck was a certified personal trainer with several years of powerlifting experience.

He was a member of Tequila and Deadlifts, Richmond’s first personal training-only facility, and touched the lives of many with his amazing training.

Furthermore, Adam Turck, who specialized in powerlifting, was also known as Superman by loved ones.

The untimely death of Adam Turck has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.

He was known not just for his professional journey but also for his kind and cheerful nature. Adam Turck decided to donate his organs, saving the lives of many before his demise.

Many of his loved ones are extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time and recalling his memories.

One wrote:

“It is with great sadness that we share our Superman, Adam Turck, will not be coming back from this. He will keep saving lives as an organ donor and will begin that journey soon. As we know information about celebrating our friend and champion we’ll let you know. Community mattered so much to him. Please love and support each other. Adam Turck Was an Alumnus of Ithaca College and Moscow Art Theatre School

The late Adam Turck was not just an amazing certified trainer but also a gifted actor and activist. He had love and passion for acting from a very young age and worked as a theatre actor for over a decade.

Furthermore, Adam Turck studied drama at Ithaca College and graduated from Moscow Art Theatre School.

He worked at Olney Theatre Center and Virginia Repertory Theatre, leaving a lasting impression on stages across the city.

Adam worked at Olney Theatre Center and Virginia Repertory Theatre. He was seen at the Tavern stage in 2012, and most recently captivated audiences as one of four performers in Yes, And!’s Constellations directed by Maggie Roop.

His ability to transform and fully embody roles made each of his performances memorable.

Furthermore, his theatre credits are wide-ranging and impressive. Adam was part of the award-winning Hand to God at TheatreLab, and took on profound material in The Laramie Project and The Inheritance (Mid-Atlantic premiere) at Richmond Triangle Players.

With Richmond Shakespeare, he earned an RTCC nomination for The Tempest and also appeared in School for Lies.

Adam also brought life to original works, including the world premiere of Chandler Hubbard’s Animal Control and Buried Child, both directed by Chelsea Burke at Firehouse Theatre.

Similarly, Turck toured nationally for three years with National Players, America’s longest-running touring theatre company.

Adam will be deeply missed by his friends, fellow artists, audiences, and all who had the honor of knowing him.
