Lyra Valkyria is set to defend her women’s Intercontinental title against Becky Lynch at Backlash on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Recently, on Monday night’s Raw, May 5, 2025, Becky said she was not here to help anybody; her job is to beat everybody, and she is very good at it.

Lyra Valkyria continued to get more confident on the mic and held her own against Becky.

The Nebraska crowd was much warmer to Valkyria, and they did not give her “what” chants like last week.

Becky and Lyra inevitably brawled, and Lyra got the better of Lynch. Becky is likely to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Backlash.

Lyra Valkyria’s Brother Darragh Was Mad about Watching American Wrestling On TV

Lyra Valkyria has a younger brother named Darragh Cusack, whose love for American wrestling introduced the sport into their household and sparked interest among the family.

Like many young boys, he loved the theatrics, the shouting, and the intense rivalries.

However, he grew out of it, like many kids, and moved on to something else.

As per Darragh’s Facebook handle, he lives in Dublin, Ireland, and went to Finntans.

Darragh recently traveled to Las Vegas to watch his sister Lyra’s WrestleMania match.
