Xander Mia, a former high school student-athlete, passed away at the young age of 21, leaving his parents and loved ones devastated.
According to some reports, the Moore, Oklahoma native and devoted U.S. Army Xander Mia passed away in a tragic car accident.
However, neither Mia’s family nor any official source has confirmed his death from a car accident.
While some social media posts suggest that the late Xander may have struggled with mental health issues, the actual cause of his untimely death is still unknown.
Xander Mia was an exceptional athlete and a brave soldier known for his cheerful nature.
His passing has left a deep void among his loved ones, teammates, and fellow soldiers.
Moreover, the whole Moore community mourns the untimely demise of their beloved Xander Mia.
Many of his loved ones are sending their heartfelt condolences to Mia’s family during this difficult phase and paying tribute to him online.

He is survived by his mother, Rebecca Mia; his father; brothers Ethan Mia and Izzac Mia; sister-in-law Haley Nicole; nephew Kason; niece Bitty; grandparents Tim Wall and Daisy Wall; and the entire family.
Xander Mia Was a Star Athlete At Moore High School
The late Xander Mia was a young man of remarkable dedication as a soldier and an athlete.
A proud graduate of Moore High School’s class of 2022, he left a lasting impact on his community through his commitment to sports, service, and leadership.
Moreover, while at Moore High School, Xander was an active member of the boys’ varsity wrestling and football teams.
He also played baseball with the Moore Youth Baseball Association.
Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Xander chose a path of service, enlisting in the 1st Battalion, 179th Infantry Regiment of the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
His comrades in the C CO, 1/179 regarded him as a dedicated and reliable brother-in-arms who could always be counted on in times of need.
Mia’s memory will live on in the stories shared by friends and family—of his resilience, kindness, and commitment to those around him.
His family has organized a funeral service on Tuesday, March 18th, at 10:00 AM at Life Church in Moore, Oklahoma.
Military Honors will be held at Sunnylane Cemetery in Del City, Oklahoma, after the funeral service, where the late Xander will be honored with a graveside ceremony that includes traditional military rites.
After the services, attendees are requested to gather at Buck Thomas Park’s South Pavilion in Moore, Oklahoma, for a reception.
