12-Year-Old Daughter Terrified to Go to School as Boys in Colorado Gym Call Her ‘A Failed Abortion’ and Blame Her for Family Dog’s Death

Bullying in any form is not acceptable, not excusable, and not something to be ignored.

A 12-year-old seventh grader in Colorado is struggling to attend school after repeated verbal attacks from a small group of boys in her gym class.

The main aggressor has accused her of being responsible for the family dog’s death, cruelly suggesting the animal “killed itself to get away from her,” and has gone so far as to call her “a failed abortion.

Despite her parents raising the issue with both the teacher and the counselor, the school has not classified the behavior as bullying.

The impact on the child has been severe; she experiences intense anxiety and even vomits at the thought of going to school, particularly to P.E. class.

Colorado Mother’s Fight to Save Her Daughter from a Group of Bullies!

A mother, Trixie Roxanne, shared the ordeal in the Colorado Springs Moms Club on Facebook, seeking advice and support.

In her post, she described the cruel remarks, the lack of recognition from the school, and her daughter’s worsening anxiety.

Roxanne highlighted that, in her view, this clearly constitutes bullying, even if the school refuses to acknowledge it as such.

She focused on the urgent need for solutions beyond medication and pointed out her frustration with the school’s response and her desire to protect her daughter’s well-being.

Moreover, she concluded her post by directly asking the community for suggestions, underscoring her plea for guidance and mutual support.

Members of the Moms Club responded with empathy and strong opinions, sharing their perspectives and advice.

One commenter shared their POV, highlighting their outrage, saying,

this is definitely bullying that’s ridiculous! definitely go to the district

The next commenter expressed compassion and accountability, saying,

This is just awful I’m so sorry she is going through this ! Please contact the district ! Poor baby. These kids these days don’t have no manners or respect. They need to be held accountable !

Likewise, another voiced their experience and strategy, saying,

Middle school is so tough! I vowed to put my daughter online specifically just for middle school and then back to school in high school. I was a school bus driver for many years all the middle schoolers are terrible! My son got bullied in middle school as well, it’s most definitely the worst years in school. Switch her classes if all else fails! Demand her to be switched.

When someone uses words that cause another person to feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or even avoid school or social spaces, that behavior is recognized as a form of bullying.

Bullying isn’t limited to physical harm; it also includes verbal abuse, insults, and targeted humiliation.

Therefore, this kind of behavior must be called out and stopped.
