Leo Jackson was the owner of the #33 Chevrolet car that Harry Gant drove in the NASCAR Winston-Cup circuit.

In the 1993 season, his Bandit Racing team switched from Oldsmobiles to Chevrolets. They had a slow start, with Gant achieving only four top-ten finishes in the first 15 races.

However, they made a strong comeback in the last 15 events, with eight top-ten finishes. Furthermore, Gant captured the pole position for the final race of the season in Atlanta.

He co-owned the #33, #55, & #66 cars with his brother, Richard, until 1990, when they decided to part ways.

Leo continued to own the #33 car, which Gant drove until his retirement in 1994, at which point Robert Pressley took the wheel.

In the latter part of 1996, Leo retired and sold the team to his crew chief, Andy Petree.

However, in 1990, when Richard embarked on establishing his own racing team, Precision Products Racing, the team continued under the name Leo Jackson Motorsports until Andy Petree purchased it in 1997.

Throughout its history, the team had well-known figures like Phil Parsons, Benny Parsons, and Robert Pressley.

However, their most successful period occurred when Harry Gant drove for the team, with Gant securing nine victories while driving Jackson’s Skoal-sponsored No. 33 car between 1989 and 1992.

Nevertheless, the team’s peak performance was during Harry Gant’s tenure, during which he secured nine victories driving Jackson’s Skoal-sponsored No. 33 car from 1989 to 1992.
