Robert Griffin III And His Wife, Grete, Have Been Together For Eight Years!

Grete Šadeiko was born on May 29, 1993, in Türi, Estonia. Coming from a family with a rich athletic legacy, she pursued her passion for track and field, excelling as a heptathlete.

Competing in international championships, Grete showcased her talent, notably placing fourth at the 2010 World Junior Championships.

She later moved to the United States to study at Florida State University, where she determinedly balanced academics and athletics.

Robert and Grete met in 2016, during which time Robert was navigating life after his divorce from Rebecca Liddicoat.

Their connection was instant, culminating in a proposal during a beach getaway in May 2017.

The couple married on March 10, 2018, in Miami, celebrating their union with a ceremony that reflected their shared values.

Grete’s entrepreneurial spirit flourished during this time; she founded Glow Fitness, a platform empowering women through personalized workout programs.

Moreover, she plays a central role in fostering their family’s unity and strength.

Together, they have three daughters: Gloria, born July 2, 2017; Gameya, born September 2019; and Gia, born January 2023.

In addition to raising their daughters, Grete has fully embraced her role as a stepmother to Reese, Robert’s daughter from his previous marriage to Rebecca Liddicoat.

Together, they have cultivated a nurturing environment that balances their public and private lives.

Despite facing criticism, including negative comments about their interracial marriage and their children’s racial identity, Robert and Grete have stood firm.

On the other hand, the couple faced controversy in June 2021 when Robert posted a tweet that was perceived as racist.

In the now-deleted tweet, he commented on his wife Grete’s physique, which reportedly involved racial stereotypes.

The tweet was widely criticized, and Robert later apologized, explaining that his intention was misunderstood and that he did not mean to offend anyone.
