In 2018, Hassanein moved to Anaheim, California, to live with his brother, a football coach.

It was there that his brother introduced him to football for the first time.

Hassanein quickly found success at Loara High School, earning a three-star recruit status.

His performance earned him recognition as the Garden Grove League Lineman of the Year and an All-CIF selection.

Hassanein’s decision to play for Boise State in 2021 marked the beginning of his college career.
