Despite being a father of two kids, American sports journalist and NBA analyst for ESPN, Stephen A. Smith doesn’t have a wife yet.

The ESPN sportscaster Stephen A. Smith has never tied the knot and is happy about it.

In a video uploaded on September 21, 2023, on his YouTube channel, Smith revealed that despite being in his 50s, he never considered having a wife.

Likewise, in the video, Smith stated that even though he is unmarried in his 50s, he is happy about it.

“I’m 55 years old, I’ve never been married, and I’m happy about it“

He also discussed the broken marriages of other celebrities, expressing that it is one of the reasons he hasn’t tied the knot yet.

As an example of a broken marriage, Smith talked about rapper Jeezy’s relationship with his wife, Jeannie Mai, and how they ended their marriage just two years after tying the knot.

Despite stating he is happy with his unmarried life, Smith is not entirely against marriage.

In a Twitter video, Stephen A. Smith stated that he hopes to find a wife someday and hopes to walk down that aisle, stand on the altar, and wait for his beautiful bride.

Although the sportscaster has yet to find his perfect wife, in July 2023, the media spotted him enjoying summer at Barbados beach with a mysterious woman.

In the viral picture, Stephen and his mysterious lady friend can be seen chilling and enjoying their romantic moment. However, Stephen hasn’t officially shared anything about the woman.

Similarly, while promoting his book Straight Shooter: A Memoir of Second Chances and First Takes on The Breakfast Club in 2023, Smith expressed his love for his daughters.

He stated,

My daughters are everything to me; I make sure that they are taken care of first. My mom was proud of the father I am and I’m very happy and proud of the father I am.

Stephen continued by saying that his two beautiful daughters have made him a much better man and human being.

Talking about his daughters, Stephen’s elder daughter, Samantha A. Smith, was born on August 27, 2008.
