Griffin Nelson Race, who played 8th-grade football for Oak Mountain Middle School in Birmingham, AL, is facing serious legal charges.

Race was also a member of the Oak Mountain High School basketball team, where he expressed his gratitude to @omhsbasketball for providing him with the best senior year experience.

He has been arrested for illegal acts, including trying to contact a child online, sharing inappropriate material with minors, and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sexual act.

These charges are related to events that took place between 2015 and 2020.
