For instance, Ryan Collins and Edward Majerczyk were sentenced to 18 and 9 months in prison for their roles in the phishing scheme that led to the leaks.
Likewise, George Garofano received an 8-month sentence for breaching more than 200 iCloud accounts.
Emilio Herrera was sentenced to 16 months, and Christopher Brannan received a 34-month sentence for unauthorized access and aggravated identity theft.
Additionally, Apple also took steps to improve iCloud security, including implementing two-factor authentication and addressing system vulnerabilities.
