Among six children, he is the eldest son of Rick Rippon and Kelly Rippon. Both of his parents are entrepreneurs.
His mother, Kelly, is a life coach who is a hypnotherapist, whereas his father, Rick, runs a company that gives online services to police departments.

Junior Career
Adam Rippon initially was coached by Yelena Sergeeva from 2000 to 2007. He gained his foremost silver medal at the Novice level at the 2005 U.S. Championships.
The same year, Adam competed in the Junior Division and got his first gold medal. Likewise, Adam debuted for the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit in the 2005-06 season.
By the end of the year 2007, he left working with Yelena and began working with Nikolai Morozov. Following it, Adam partook in the Grand Prix season, Cup of Russia, and many more.

Senior Debut

Before entering the Four Continents team and the Worlds team, Adam stood second at U.S. Championships. The next year, he had another gold at the 2016 U.S. Championships.

Olympics
The season 2017-18 is one of the crucial events of Adam’s life and also the near end of his career. He started strong that season with the bronze medal in the 2017 CS Finlandia Trophy.
