The American retired soccer player Alexi Lalas and his wife Anne Rewey have been married for over two decades.
The couple have been inseparable through their conjugal journey and are parents of two kids.
Despite their public personas, Lalas and Rewey prefer to keep their personal lives private and away from media scrutiny.
The former defender Alexi Lalas was a standout player during the 1994 FIFA World Cup while representing his national team.
He was also widely known for his unique appearance, distinctive long beard, and hair.
Lalas made history by becoming the first American player to join Italy’s Serie A, playing for Calcio Padova.
He played for various teams throughout his career, including the New England Revolution, Metro Stars, and Kansas City Wizards.

During an interview, Alexi stated, “When I was playing in Los Angeles, and I won a championship- then I got married right after. Truth be told, as great as the championship was, the wedding was better. if I had to pick a ring I know which one I would pick”
The Couple Share Two Kids
In terms of their family, Anne, and Alexi have raised a beautiful and loving household. They are parents to two children.
They welcomed their daughter named, Sophie in 1994. She is available on Instagram with the username @sophielalas, with over 648 followers.
Later on, the couple welcomed another child named Henry Lalas. The parents have opted to keep the personal details of their children private.
Post Retirement
During the 2004 and 2005 MLS seasons, Alexi held the positions of president and general manager for the San Jose Earthquakes.
From 2005 to 2006, he served as the general manager for the Metro Stars/ New York Red Bulls.
Lalas then joined as the president of the LA Galaxy from 2006 to 2008, a period when the club signed David Beckham.
After his tenure with the Galaxy, Lalas transitioned to a career in sports commentary.
He spent six years as a commentator for ESPN before securing a commentary deal with Fox Sports.
Presently, Lalas also co-hosts the podcast State of the Union with pundit David Mosse.
The podcast is dedicated to discussing various aspects of American soccer. Additionally, Lalas had a reporting role at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
