Brittany Campbell shared the email from the Groza Board regarding an unsafe person allegedly having inappropriate contact with minors at Kennedy Park.
She wasn’t happy to share the news but felt it was important for all local families to know who was visiting Kennedy or anywhere nearby.
Reports of alleged inappropriate contact with a minor are among the most serious concerns in our society. It is a sensitive topic that requires careful understanding and a responsible approach from everyone involved.
Every parent and caregiver’s top priority is keeping children safe. A critical part of that is understanding what constitutes inappropriate contact with a minor and how to prevent it.
Inappropriate contact refers to any interaction between an adult and a minor that breaches boundaries and trust.
If anyone suspects a child is being groomed or abused, report the concerns to local law enforcement or child protective services as soon as possible.
Immediate action can protect a child from further harm.
Alert After Alleged Predator Spotted at Brook Park Football Field
A community is on alert after an individual was allegedly engaging in inappropriate contact with minors at Kennedy Park, the practice field for the Groza football and cheer organization.
The Groza Board issued a warning in an email to its community members, which was then widely shared with families on social media.
According to the board’s email, the individual has been present at Kennedy Field in Brook Park over the past several days.
A parent coach and a board member assisted the Brook Park Police, leading to the man’s arrest. However, the board confirmed he has since been released on bond.
The email urges extreme caution, advising parents and coaches to remain vigilant, be aware of unfamiliar adults lingering at practices, and always know their children’s whereabouts.
He was up there last night at my cheerleading practice (he personally didn’t bother my cheerleaders). He was trying to bribe kids with money, putting hands on them, I believe also kissing some of the kids hands. All the kids got video of him & what he was doing & showed it to the cops when they showed up.

Furthermore, Brittany Campbell reshared the news on her Facebook post and requested the community to take the matter seriously.
Let’s take this seriously, all collectively keep our eyes open, and work together to keep our kids safe. See something, say something, and always err on the side of caution.

Nonetheless, several community members shared her post and tried to gather information on what exactly had happened.
They even tried to maintain an extra police presence at games on Saturdays and conduct extra patrols during the week’s practices.
Thank you, I just became aware of this incident. My son left just before it happened. I believe there was a mom who called police on this man earlier in the evening at Kennedy, if you’re in this group please message me.
