Carrying young Anu in their arms, the Koks family embarked on an uncertain journey fueled by hope.

After years of searching for a place to call home, they eventually settled in Canada when Anu was just five years old.

In Canada, Anu thrived, channeling her artistic passion into a successful career. She graduated from Central Tech in the Arts and further honed her skills at the Ontario College of Art.

Her love for creativity eventually led her to a position as a diorama designer at Toronto’s iconic Eaton store. There, she met her future husband, Sweet Daddy Siki, a charismatic Afro-American wrestler from Texas and a veteran of the Korean War.

Their romance blossomed over time, culminating in their marriage on November 22, 1964. The couple built a life together and welcomed two sons: Reg James, born on June 9, 1965, and Justin James, born on August 13, 1968.

Anu supported her husband’s wrestling career steadfastly, leveraging her artistic talents to design his striking outfits.

She crafted about ten dazzling sequin costumes, often working tirelessly through the night, completing her work just in time for breakfast. Her dedication and craftsmanship elevated Daddy Siki’s iconic persona in the wrestling world.

Anu’s personality and sense of humor made their home warm and welcoming, fostering close bonds with her children.

She shared a particularly special connection with her eldest son, Reg, creating cherished memories through trips to museums, art galleries, and concerts during the lively 1980s.

After Losing His Wife, Siki Suffered From Grief That Led To Dementia And His Death On New Year’s Eve

Tragically, Sweet Daddy Siki’s wife, Anne’s health worsened as she battled Parkinson’s disease, osteoporosis, and other ailments, eventually passing away in October 2013.

Her funeral was held at St. James Cemetery and Crematorium in Toronto, and Siki suffered with grief.

Despite being a well-known public personality, Siki kept a low profile in his later years, focusing on his health issues.

He battled dementia with courage till his death.

On New Year’s Eve 2024, he peacefully passed away at Humber Hospital in Toronto, leaving a legacy as a legendary character in wrestling and a loving father to Justin and Reginald James Gregory Oliver.
