KayDianna MacKenzie, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader (DCC) featured in Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, is happily married to her college sweetheart, Eric Garza.

A talented cheerleader, KayDianna and Eric’s story began at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas. Both were students when they crossed paths, and their connection was instant.

KayDianna and Eric officially started dating on February 25, 2019. On their first anniversary, KayDianna took to her Instagram to express how lucky he is to have her, writing:

I am beyond blessed to have such a caring, genuine, driven, faith filled man! You are the answer to my prayers! I do not know what life would be like without you! Thank you for the constant laughs, the fun adventures, movie nights, game nights, for being my best friend, and being my shoulder to cry on!

Their college years were filled with nothing but adventure, from campus events to cheering each other on in their pursuits.

During that time, KayDianna, a talented dancer, was captain of the TCU Showgirls, while Eric supported her every step of the way.

KayDianna MacKenzie graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in May 2019, and by the time KayDianna graduated from TCU in 2021, their relationship was stronger than ever.

KayDianna and Eric Garza Have Been Married For 2 Years!

After almost three years of dating, KayDianna and Eric took their love to the next level.

Eric proposed to KayDianna in November 2021, in a setup that was lit with “MARRY ME” LED lights.

It was one of the easiest YESes of KayDianna, which she showcased on her Instagram caption, writing:

Love is a choice & when it comes to @e_garza7 it’s such an easy choice❤️

Almost two years later, KayDianna and Eric officially tied the knot on March 24, 2023.

On the commemoration of their 2nd wedding anniversary, Eric wrote:

KayDianna has often credited Eric for being her rock. In America’s Sweethearts Season 2, she mentioned how Eric supported her not just emotionally but also financially and physically during her busy DCC days.

She revealed Eric ensured she took care of herself when her schedule got overwhelming, helping her balance her cheerleading, public relations work, and dance instruction.

Above all, Eric has made an Instagram account under the username The DCC Husband, which speaks volumes about his pride in KayDianna’s achievements and career.
